School Supplies: Read this first before you buy!

For the 2022-23 school year, GLES will be purchasing essential school supplies in bulk, and will be asking families who can afford it to pay $25/student to cover costs. This will also include the Yearbook, which will be made and printed in-house for next year. 

We know some of you enjoy back-to-school shopping, but we hope this approach generates less waste and more equality across all grades. The teachers approved the supplies to be purchased for their grades and now they know they will have them on Day 1. This will also help any kids who transfer in mid-year; they'll have one less thing to worry about!

We will have a payment option set up in SchoolPay for the Fall, and will also accept payment via cash/check or money order made out to “Green Lake Elementary School” and delivered to Amy Carroll in the front office (GLES (cc: Amy Carroll), 2400 N 65th Street, Seattle, WA 98103).

This is not a requirement, but we appreciate any level of payment to cover the cost of supplies, and to assist members of our community who cannot cover the entire cost.
