At Green Lake Elementary, we value each and every one of our students. 

We are fortunate to have a Developmental Preschool program, as well as a Medically Fragile education program.  

Our students often have a variety of challenges that need accommodations. Everything from speech therapy, reading support, Occupational Therapy, social skills support and more, our Dragons get the care and attention they need to thrive. 

If your student needs access to these services, the process can be incredibly confusing.  Thankfully, the Seattle Special Education PTSA has put together a Special Education Guide that you can use to navigate the steps to get evaluated for an IEP or 504, to understand who will be the primary contact for you at the school, and how to troubleshoot every step of the process.
